Welcome to the 8-Minute Drawing Challenge!

Thanks so much for signing up — I’m thrilled to have you here! This group is for participants of the free taster video, a quick and fun beginner drawing exercise.

Here’s what to do next:

1. Watch the short tutorial (link in your email!)

2. Grab an HB or 2B pencil, a sheet of paper, and give it a go — don’t worry about perfection, just enjoy the process!

3. You can draw any cylinder or round shape you like. Just make sure there is a smooth surface so you can concentrate on your tonal sketching.

4. Snap a photo of your drawing and post it right here in this group.

One lucky participant will win a free place on one of my full online art courses! Submit your drawing by Midnight on 6th May 2025 to be in with a chance — I’ll announce the winner here in mid-May.
